How are you explaining pay ranges to managers before the new disclosure rules?
We publish ranges internally next quarter. Looking for what worked in manager briefings, and what backfired.
More than a community platform
Community, events, learning credit, mentoring and an AI assistant that answers from your members’ own words. Connected to the AMS, LMS and CRM you already run, with the reporting to show your board it is working.
A home feed of questions and discussions from the spaces a member follows, with people worth meeting beside it.
One platform in place of five
The platform
Most associations run their community on one tool, events on another, mentoring on a form and credit tracking on a spreadsheet. Here they are one system, joined to your membership database, so each part knows what a member has done in the others.
Set it up in your name, your colours and your structure, without a developer.
Your brand, not ours
Logo, colour and typeface applied across every page and every email.
Spaces for every audience
Open spaces, members-only spaces, and private ones for a board or committee.
A homepage you arrange
Choose the blocks, order them, and decide what a visitor sees before joining.
Roles that match your team
Members, moderators, community managers and administrators, each with their own reach.
Features
Not a general-purpose forum with your logo on it. Each part exists because a membership team asked for it.
Discussions and Q&A
A question nobody answers teaches a member not to ask again. Each one is matched to members with that expertise and put in front of them, and the asker marks the answer that solved it.
Email, both ways
Most members will never keep a tab open on your community. They get a digest of what they follow, and when someone answers them they reply straight from the email.
Events, mentoring and credit
Attending an event or giving the answer that solved a colleague’s question can count toward recertification, recorded automatically and shown to the member as progress.
Retention
Renewal is decided months before the invoice. Members going quiet are listed with what changed and a suggested next step, and staff log each contact so two people do not make the same call.
Sponsorship
Give partners a place on the homepage, in a space, at an event or in the digest. Every placement is labelled, rotated fairly and counted, and the sponsor gets a report they can trust.
And the rest
All of it is included. There is no module list to price, and nothing to switch on later.
Templates, guides and recordings, searchable, with every upload scanned for viruses before anyone can download it.
Regional chapters and working groups with their own space, events, roster and volunteer roles.
One search across discussions, files and people, and a report to staff of the searches that found nothing.
Member-to-member messages, with blocking, and a policy you set for who may write to whom.
Ask the membership a question inside a discussion. Results stay hidden until a member has voted.
Points and ribbons for the contributions you want more of, with rules you write and a leaderboard.
Reports, first-post approval, automatic screening, warnings and suspensions, each with a reason on record.
Publish association news, open a discussion under it, and notify every member or one tier.
Expertise, credentials, employer and region, so the directory answers “who here knows about this?”
AI, used with restraint
Years of answers sit in your discussions and your library. The assistant reads only those, only what the member asking may open, and shows the posts each answer came from. When the community has nothing, it says so, puts the question to the members who know, and tells your staff what is missing.
A member asks in plain words and gets an answer from your discussions and files, each claim linked to its post.
While a member writes a question, discussions that already answer it are offered.
What the community has not covered is put to the members whose expertise fits, by name.
Doubtful posts are held for a person to read. A moderator always makes the decision.
Integrations
Your membership system stays the source of truth. One Roof reads from it, signs members in with it, and sends back what they did, so the community is part of your stack and not another island beside it.
How a connection comes about: we set each one up with your team during onboarding, by single sign-on, API, scheduled sync or secure file exchange, whichever your system supports. These are the systems associations run most.
Members, tiers and renewal dates come in; nobody is entered twice.
What a member did in the community shows on their record.
Courses completed and credit earned count toward recertification.
Registrations and attendance arrive without a spreadsheet.
Members use the login they already have. No second password.
Segments go out to your email tool; figures go to your dashboards.
Every association’s systems are configured differently, so we connect yours with you rather than hand you a settings page. Use something that is not listed? Tell us what it is and we will build the connection as part of getting you live.
Product names belong to their owners and are listed as systems One Roof can be connected to; no partnership or endorsement is implied.
Switching
The hard part of changing community software is not the software. It is years of discussions, a library members rely on, and a membership system everything has to agree with. We do that work with you.
Talk through your moveYour spaces, member tiers, files and the discussions worth keeping, written down as a plan you approve.
Members, discussions and library files are brought across, and your membership database and sign-in are connected.
Staff and a group of members use it with your real content before anyone else is invited.
Members arrive to a community that already has its history, its people and something new to read.
Trust
Public, members-only and invitation-only spaces. A board discussion is never listed to anyone outside the board.
Uploads are checked for viruses before they can be downloaded, and a file that cannot be checked stays held.
Staff actions, moderation decisions and role changes are kept in an audit log with who, what and when.
One-click unsubscribe, a notification setting for every kind of message, and blocking that holds everywhere.
Who it is for
Peer advice, credentials and career-long membership.
Member companies, their seats and their people.
Continuing education tracked where it is earned.
A national community with local ones inside it.
Yes. Moving your members, discussions and library files is part of getting started, not an extra. We agree with you what is worth keeping and you check it before members are invited.
Yes. Membership status and tier come from the system you already keep them in, members sign in the way they do today, and credit and engagement are passed back. We set the connections up with your team during onboarding; tell us which systems you run and we will say exactly how each one is connected.
It answers only from what your members and staff have written, only from spaces the member asking may open, and every answer shows the posts it came from. If the community has not covered a question it says so instead of guessing, and your staff see the list of what members asked that nobody has answered.
One Roof is built for the phone first and works in any mobile browser, including moderation and admin. There is no separate app to download, and members reply to discussions from their email on any device.
By the size of your membership, with every feature on this page included. Tell us roughly how many members you have and we will send a figure, not a sales sequence.
Your team, with the tools to keep it light: reports from members, approval of first posts, automatic screening that holds doubtful posts for a person, and a reason recorded for every decision.
Yes. In a demo we set it up in your name and colours, with spaces that match how your association is organised.
Thirty minutes, set up in your association's name, with the questions your team would ask of any platform.
